Fundraiser in The Cornish Guardian

The Cornish Guardian have published a spread on our up and coming fundraiser – NEXT WEEKEND!!

It’s great to see little Talan in the paper.

Let’s hope it gets some more attention, and more people show up to raise money for two great charities!

Thank you Cornish Guardian – The Barrows salute you!

The Fundraiser is almost here!!

With just over two weeks to go, the Arrowbarrows Fundraiser is almost here.

Numerous spirits (including the brilliant Plymouth Gin) and many other prizes

Raffle tickets are £1 each and can be bought on the day (or before if you happen to know any of the Arrowbarrows…).

We’re going to have big band music and dancing (maybe you’ll get to dance with one of our brave heroes…), Topgun’s Cakey Tea, and apart from the special show by The Arrowbarrows, the highlight is surely getting that Pesky Red Barron in the jail and getting a chance to throw things at him!! (I’m sure the pilots themselves will be queuing up for that privilege!)

Please, please join us on Saturday 23rd September and make it a special day by raising as much money as we can for some real heroes – The Cornwall Air Ambulance and The Grand Appeal.

Chocks away and Tally Ho!!!

Arrowbarrows Fundraising Fun Day – 23rd September

In the beginning of July, two of the Arrowbarrows (Carole the Ops Girl and Talan the Mini Barron) were involved in a terrible car crash which had both of them hospitalised.

Unfortunately, poor little Talan suffered a serious head injury and had to be air lifted to Bristol Children’s Hospital and put into an induced sleep in intensive care.

Thankfully, both Carole and Talan are making terrific recoveries after such a terrible ordeal, and it’s all down to the tireless work from great people.

As a thank you, The Arrowbarrows would like to hold a special Fundraising event to raise money to donate to the Cornwall Air Ambulance and the Bristol Children’s Hospital  (The Wallace and Grommit Grand Appeal) for everything they did.

We’ll be holding a fun day on Saturday 23rd September (next month) at The Arrowbarrows HQ – The Harrowbarrow Village Hall in Harrowbarrow, Cornwall.

We’re hoping to have stalls, raffle prizes , music, Cakey Tea (a specific request from our Squadron Leader, Topgun), a chance to throw things at that pesky Red Barron (who has actually agreed to go in the stocks as a one off for a great cause…) a special performance by The Arrowbarrows and hopefully so much more.

We’ll be posting more information on this fantastic event in due course, but please pencil the date into your diaries and come and join our brave pilots to help raise money for two great teams of real life heroes.

For more information in the meantime (or if you simply fancy telling the pilots how great they are…) get in touch with Topgun on our Contact Page.

See you there…… Chocks away!!!
